Angoulême Festival remains mired in controversy as the deadline for alternative showrunners entered its final days. Grand Prix recipient Anouk Ricard confirmed her decision to boycott next year’s festival, and two publishers have publicly declared they will not attend. Meanwhile it is believed that the widely unpopular showrunner incumbent 9e Art+ is the frontrunner to replace itself
