NYCC ‘26 Product announcements
During Saturday’s “30 years of Tamagotchi” panel, even more products were announced such as the Neon Planets Tamagotchi Paradise which will release on November 21st, 2026 with pre-orders available on Amazon. Also announced are the pastel-blue silicone case for Tamagotchi Paradise models as well as a black and 30th anniversary lanyard. The panel also revealed the long-awaited My Lab Tamagotchi, a portable accessory based on the Lab Tama kiosks designed for use with Tamagotchi Paradise. Users can also unlock outside toys, decorations, and items which can be transferred to a Tamagotchi Paradise when connected. It’s something I’ve been hoping would be announced once I heard about its announcement in September for the Japanese version.
The panel also unveiled the Tamagotchi Rings, a new line of functioning Tamagotchi devices designed to be worn as rings. They feature feeding mechanics, mini-games, room customization, and a sleep mode with colored screens and a dedicated charging case. They are available in three colors: Aurora White x Pink, Gold x Light Blue, and Silver x Black. The rings are scheduled for a March 2027 release.

The Original Tamagotchi and its revivals were also announced include the Winter series of Original Tamagotchi models and the Original models + A Collectibles Figure Set. Walmart will have 2 exclusive Original Tamagotchi models: The 30th anniversary Tama Space Purple and the Beach Day versions. Coming soon to EB Games, Best Buy, MiniSo, Barnes & Nobles, and Boxlunch are the 30th anniversary Original Tamagotchi revivals which will come in 6 variants.
There is also the 30th anniversary collectibles set which include: 6 Tamagotchi Collectibles 30th Anniversary Volume 2 set for a February 2027 release, 6 Tamamori Accessory 30th Anniversary collectibles releasing on January 2027, and 3 Sweet Fragrance Friends – Tamagotchi collectibles also releasing on January 2027.

Events and Pop Ups
Tamagotchi also has various events, retail collabs, and pop-ups planned throughout the remainder of their 30th anniversary celebration. On October 17, 2026 the Miniso Land will open in Columbus, Ohio. On opening day there will be a wall of Tamagotchi merchandise as well as the appearance of a Mimitchi Mascot within the store.
November 7th through the 29th as part of a month-long collab, the Miniso’s located at Barton Creek Mall in Texas and American Dream Mall in New Jersey will have two Tamagotchi-themed pop-ups. On opening weekend customers in line at these locations will receive Tamagotchi visors, Trading cards will be gifted with any purchase, and Lapel pins will be gifted with memberships and social media following. At these select Miniso’s there will also be exclusive merch available during that time.

It was also announced that FAO Schwartz in New York City will have a Tamagotchi UFO Lab experience in November of 2026. But that won’t be all of the Tamagotchi events in New York City, as Tamagotchi will make an appearance at Times Square on November 22nd with a free fan experience event starting at 9am near the Tamashi nations store and a screen takeover starting at 7pm later that day. The free fan experience will include:
- An Interactive Tamagotchi experience
- Tamagotchi products on display
- Photo opps with a giant birthday cake display
- Fan meetups
- Mametchi and Mimitchi meet-and-greets
- Giveaways including exclusive trading cards and more
