On Thursday during NYCC ‘26, Rocketship Entertainment returned to NYCC with another panel held at room 1C03. The panel was hosted by the managing editor of Rocketship Entertainment Alex Zalben, and since the panel was held on a Thursday at 5:30pm, there wasn’t as large of a turnout in attendance as I would have expected, but the panelists still gave it their all despite the numbers.

The panel began with simple introductions of each panelist and what they do, what projects they are working on, and if they would sit by the window or in the aisle of a rocketship. First to introduce themselves was Tom Akel, CEO and Publisher for Rocketship and he would go on to say that he would take the window seats. After him was Jakub Stokalski, game designer behind Frostpunk and Frostpunk 1886, his preference is the aisle seats. Next up was Carla Wygala, artist and co-creator of Skull Maskerade, she picked the window seat. After Wygala was Ryan Benjamin, artist behind the official Frostpunk 1886 graphic novel and 7 other projects, he picks the window seat. Finally we had Reilly Brown, artist and creator of the WEBTOON Original series Outrage, he also picked the window seat.

The panel then shifted to announcements for upcoming projects and Kickstarters from or backed by Rocketship Entertainment, which are listed as follows:
- Angry Birds – A Graphic Novel Collection
- Collaboration with Moulin Rouge Paris for Graphic Novels, Tabletop games, and Manga.
- Collaboration with Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. to publish and reprint classic Russ Manning’s Tarzan comic collections
- Street Fighter: The Official Movie Graphic Novel
- Frostpunk 1886: The Official Graphic Novel
- Skull Maskerade Volume 1
- Sanford Greene’s 1000
- Outrage Volume 2
After those announcements the last few minutes of the panel were dedicated to Q&A. The last person to ask a question to the panelists actually runs and owns a bagel shop, so the final question was mostly asking what their favorite types of bagels are.
Any of the announced projects have your attention? Is there any comics or projects you wish for Rocketship entertainment to publish or back? Let us know down in the comments.
