Big doings in comics sales chart land: ICv2 is adding Comic Shop Assistant to their reporting, and Prana DMS is adding a monthly publisher market share chart
Last year, we reported that more than 60,000 people came to San Diego for SDCC without a badge. Staggering as that may seem, it's not hard to imagine given the impressive number of off-site events, installations, parties, and so on.
We've rounded up some of the most prominent beyond-the-convention walls events at SDCC, but for a more complete listing, we recommend checking out this calendar created by our friends at The San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog (many nights have upwards of 50 events, way more than we can list here!).
And......it's all winding down. I always get sad when I format Sunday because when the bell rings, one adventure will end, and we'll have a whole 'nother year of planning and stressing. Some good panels here though and with Hollywood gone away, mostly comics and kids comics.
Here's all of Saturday with Dan Clowes, William Gibson, Sigourney Weaver, and oh yeah, the WB and Marvel movie panels. Get those sleeping bags ready.
