Just a few days after Warner Bros began to rope in Amber Heard to play Mera in Justice League and Aquaman, the studio has now found their mother of Wonder Woman.

THR reports that Connie Nielsen (Gladiator, The Good Wife) has joined the cast of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman in the role of Hippolyta, the woman who will sculpt Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman into life, or however they decide to approach that origin.

She joins a cast that includes Robin Wright, Chris Pine (as Steve Trevor), David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner, and Lucy Davis.

The movie has already begun shooting, but given that it won’t see release until Summer 2017, that’s probably no real indication of the size of Hippolyta’s presence in the film.
