Jason Momoa will be appearing in The Simpsons, taking on the role of – himself. On Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly made the exclusive announcement that the Game of Thrones and Aquaman star will be making the short transition to animation in Fox’s long-running comedy.

Apparently, the iconic family runs into Momoa at the San Castellaneta festival, which EW notes is a nod to Homer’s voice actor, Dan Castellaneta. The outlet also spoke to Simpsons executive producer Al Jean about what Momoa’s episode will entail: “He is the celebrity that shows up and talks about this legend of this saint who was ground up and martyred and became the origin of modern-day pistachio ice cream. He tells this very gruesome story — and then Patty and Selma want him to sign their boobs and he runs away.” Alongside Momoa, this episode also bring star of Better Call Saul, Bob Odenkirk, to lend his voice to a lawyer.

Alongside Odenkirk and Momoa, John Mulaney and Dr. Jane Goodall are also on The Simpsons roster this fall. For more on the iconic series, make sure to head over to the SDCC panel on Friday. Till then, check out the first look at Momoa’s cartoonization below, per the Entertainment Weekly exclusive. See it in action when The Simpsons returns this September.
