Dark Horse Comics has announced Wyrd, a new miniseries from writer Curt Pires and artist Antonio Fuso. The four-issue series follows Pitor Wyrd, a freelance detective who assists on cases that are strange or otherwise unexplainable. The series is colored by Stefano Simeone, and lettered by Micah Myers.
Curt Pires has previously written The Tomorrows and Pop for Dark Horse, in addition to work for Black Mask and Image. His most recent credit is a contribution to the Where We Live benefit anthology for victims of last year’s mass shooting in Las Vegas. Antonio Fuso has done work for multiple publishers including IDW, Titan, 2000AD, and Marvel Comics. Wyrd will be his first Dark Horse work.

The series is colored by Stefano Simeone and features variant covers by Jeff Lemire (Black Hammer), Rafael Albuquerque (Neil Gaiman’s A Study in Emerald), Gabriele Dell’Otto (X-23), and Danijel Zezelj (Starve).
Wyrd #1 (of four) goes on sale January 30, 2019, and is available for pre-order at your local comic shop.
