I think it’s safe the say that for the longest time the MCU had a problem with lackluster villains, something they’ve taken great strides to remedy in recent years. Gorr the God Butcher, the latest baddie featured in Thor: Love and Thunder played by Christian Bale, may not be on the same level as Loki but he’s nowhere near as forgettable as Malekith. His depiction in the film is a far cry from artist Esad Ribić‘s original design from his acclaimed comics run with writer Jason Aaron where Gorr first debuted.
Fans can rejoice as Hasbro revealed the newest figure in the Marvel Legends line – Gorr the God Butcher! Inspired by the character’s appearance in Marvel Comics’ Thor: God of Thunder. The figure comes with 2 accessories including an alternate head and hand should you choose to display the figure wielding his legendary Necrosword. Marvel Legends Series Gorr will be available for pre-order tomorrow, 8/30, at 1 p.m. ET, exclusively at Amazon.
