It’s been a busy week for digital comics and manga platform GlobalComix with three new publishing partnerships being announced. Previously this week, GlobalComix revealed that FanFan Comics and Comijoy would be joining as new manga/manhua partners on the platform. Rounding out this week’s announcements, Chinese digital publisher Kuaikan Comics has been revealed as the newest inductee to the GlobalComix library.
This year has seen GlobalComix lean heavily into the digital manga spaces by partnering with publishers like Yuri Hub and Seven Seas. GlobalComix also acquired INKR, a digital comics startup focused on Chinese, Korean, and Japanese comics. With FanFan Comics, Comijoy, and the newly announced Kuaikan Comics joining the GlobalComix library, users will have access to a wider catalog of Asian-comics titles.
Among the Kuaikan titles joining the platform this fall are The Game That I Came From, The Boss’s Shotgun Wedding, and The King and Me. These announcements are a part of GlobalComix’s lead up to the Anime NYC convention taking place at the Javits Center on August 20th through the 23rd.
