GlobalComix announced yesterday that they will be revealing three new Asian-comics publishing partners this week leading up to Anime NYC, beginning with manhua publisher FanFan Comics. Today they revealed their second partner in ComiJoy, a comics and webtoons publisher with Japanese, Chinese, and Korean content.
GlobalComix is a digital comics and manga marketplace competing in the digital comics arms race. The platform has digital offers for American comics from DC, Marvel, and the newly resurrected AfterShock. The platform also offers digital manga from publishers such as Yuri Hub, Seven Seas, and Kodansha.
These newest partnerships come after a year of expansion into the Asian-comics markets following the acquisition of the digital manga/manhwa/manhua platform INKR. ComiJoy titles will be available on GlobalComix this fall and include How I Became the Duke’s Beloved Daughter and The Plebeian: Beyond the Bloodline Elite.
