Humanoids launched their BiG imprint of young reader graphic novels back in 2018, and since then they’ve put out a wide array of quality titles, from the Stranger Things-esque Urban Legendz to the whimsical, only-sometimes-biographical adventures of a young Mozart. Next week the imprint releases Where Are You, Leopold? Book 1: The Invisibility Game, a graphic novel about a young boy who develops the ability to turn invisible. Written by Michel-Yves Schmitt and illustrated by Vincent Caut, the first book of the series was originally published in France in 2011.

Where Are You, Leopold? offers an entertaining look at what a kid would really do if they had superpowers, with a great sense of humor and fantastic art throughout from Caut. The last few pages of the book also include some fun puzzles and activities for readers to complete. As we get closer to the holidays, if you’re looking for a gift for the burgeoning comics reader in your life, or for the older reader who just needs a distraction from, well, everything, Where Are You, Leopold? is sure to be a hit.

Check out a seven-page preview, exclusive to The Beat, of Where Are You, Leopold? Book 1: The Invisibility Game below. The 96-page all-ages graphic novel arrives in stores next Tuesday, November 10th.
