News is racing in for the next installment in the Iron Man franchise, although no confirmation quite yet about whether The Unicorn will appear.

Somehow unearthed, a 1982 convention reel from BLADE RUNNER, with young designer Syd Mead and director Ridley Scottexplaining how their invented world works, and bits of action from deleted scenes. DAMN. The bad state of the color suggest that this was sitting on a shelf somewhere for a looooong time. But no matter how bad the transfer, the candid scenes of the Blade Runner world—all set to a stylish '70s type porno score—are priceless.

Even with Men In Black III (technically, another Marvel movie since Marvel acquired Malibu) taking over the top spot, Avengers is holding up very well with 4-day weekend haul estimated at $46,878,000. It only lost 331 theaters and it's still rolling along.

According to Screen Daily, the movie adaptation of Jason's I KILLED ADOLF HITLER now has director Timo Vuorensola attached. The Finnish helmer is best known for IRON SKY, which is about a secret moonbase full of Nazis who escaped WWII but are back to wreak havoc.

The summer movie season must be nearing full swing: we have a 007 sighting. "Skyfall" isn't due out until the Fall, but the first trailer has already turned up:

Avengers continues rule the U.S. box office and climb up the global rankings. Avengers is now the #4 grossing film all-time in the global market and #6 in the U.S market.

The juggernaut that is the Avengers movie (as opposed to the Juggernaut in the X-Men films) is still rolling. How did it do this weekend? The weekend box office estimates for the U.S. are for $103M. That brings the global total to $1,002,082,000. Marvel has to be feeling pretty good.
