After announcing the Merry Little Batman animated Christmas special found a new home on Prime Video, today Prime Video not only revealed the all-star voice cast but also announced a December 8th release date.

Voices will include Yonas Kibreab, Luke Wilson, James Cromwell, and David Hornsby. Though the characters weren’t mentioned in the official press release, it seems safe to assume Kibreab will be voicing Damian Wayne while Wilson and Cromwell will be playing Bruce Wayne/Batman and Alfred respectively.

As previously revealed, the special will lead into a spinoff series entitled Bat-Family. Also on the horizon and set to arrive on Prime Video is the much-anticipated Batman: Caped Crusader animated series from from executive producers Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves. With any luck, it won’t be long until release details for Caped Crusader are finally announced.
