This is a major bummer. Thank You Comics, the spinoff of Silverlake's very successful Secret Headquarters, is closing at the end of the month according to their home page.
Dark Horse joins Sequential app for digital comics
Well, this is interesting. Although Dark Horse sells its periodical comics exclusively through its own app, and has never been available on Comixology, they've just signed a deal with Sequential, the stand alone graphic novel app—making it the first the first third-party digital comics app to distribute Dark Horse. UPDATE: Todd Allen has reminded me that Dark Horse GNs were available for a while on Comixology a few years ago but aren't any more.

Have I ever told you I love http://afuchan.tumblr.com/? Maybe I have but let's say it again: I love Afu Chan! His art has the popular post-Moebius line mixed with action packed layouts and weirdly angled figures that are just irresistible and his character designs are gorgeous. It's surprising he hasn't gotten a lot more attention, but his output has been rather limited. I loved his work on Spera and his illustrations, and now he's back with HaloGen, written by Spera's Josh Tierney ; Giannis Milonogiannis (Prophet, Old City Blues) is a co-creator of the series and contributes covers.
