It’s a holiday for many of us, and what better way to celebrate the birthday of Martin Luthor King than to suggest that if you haven’t already, you may purchase a digital copy of MARCH by Rep John Lewis, which comes bundled with a digital copy of MARTIN LUTHER KING AND THE MONTGOMERY STORY, the 1957 comic which inspired Lewis to join the historic quest for civil rights. And the memory of that comic book has given rise to MARCH, a new book that is inspiring current generations.

And on another hopefully appropriate note, here’s a piece on Lewis’s recent appearance at Powells Books in Portland, OR, the most recent in a year long series of packed signings for the book.

One person can make a difference, and even a comic book can help.

  1. I have my hard-copy, Heidi. And I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that that MLKJ comic really had state-of-the-art art for it’s time. I’ve been meaning to get a hard copy of it from it’s association.
