ComicsPRO’s annual retailer/publisher summit will be held in Portland, Oregon on February 22-24, 2018. It’s an intensive gathering where announcements are made and issues are discussed.
I’m told this year’s keynote speaker will be Dinesh Shamdasani, formerly the publisher of Valiant Entertainment, and since the ownership change, a consultant for Valiant.
Shamdasani may not be running the company any more but he has a lot of admirers among retailers. And he’s a class act all the way.
The press is barred from attending the meeting, but that should be a very interesting speech.
