Silvestri’s Cyber Force now available free on LINE Webtoon
LINE Webtoon is a popular digital comics platform, based in Korea, that came to the US last year. As previously announced, they're bringing Marc Silvestri's Cyber Force to the platform, starting today, with free downloads. .
Cyber Force was one of the original Image Comics titles, and follows a group of cybernetically enhanced do gooders who have adventures while being rendered in Silvestri's fine line style.
Kirby: to recolor or not
A lot of people celebrated Jack Kirby's birthday on Friday by posting a lot of his art, and it is always pleasant to page through galleries of the King. One thing that I did notice on all this art was how stunning (to me anyway) the original limited coloring looks.

DC president Diane Nelson to head up WB Consumer Products
If you were wondering if any of the recent turmoil at DC Comics would affect president Diane Nelson's standing at WB, the answer is no. Interactive, THR reports. She replaces Brad Globe, who served as president from 2005 until now and announced his retirement for next spring.

It’s Jack Kirby’s 98th birthday…why not give to the Hero Initiative today
Jack Kirby, the titanic force of US comics, would have been 98 years old today. While it makes you wonder what exciting things we'll be doing for his centenary, it's also a reminder that it's a good day to contribute to The Hero Initiative, as Kirby's granddaughter Jillian suggests in the above video.
For several years, Jillian has promoted the Kirby4Heroes campaign to raise funds for the charity which aids creators in need. I can attest to the many people that this organization has helped, and in a field where 401ks are non existent, it's sometimes the only safety net poplar have.
