PLus many signed books and prints by the likes of Jules Feiffer. And if you're luycky, you might even get a galley of Trahsed, Derf Backderf's hilarious and disgusting account of a garbageman's life. D+Q to publish Laura Park’s Do Not Disturb My Waking Dream

1
Ignatz winner, Eisner-nominee Laura Park is a cartoonist who veers into "national treasure" territory for me. Her classically styled linework and delicate coloring mix with an ineffable, inspired mix of sadness and tenderness. Do Not Disturb My Waking Dream, her mini comic, is a small classic, released in small numbers. But hooray, D+Q will be publishing a collected edition of her comics under the Waking Dream title.

Conundrum’s fall line allows you to become a kitten

3
Of course there are some great graphic novels in Conundrum Press's fall line, but the book I'm choosing to headline is "You Are a Kitten!' -- a shoose your own path book that will redefine how we perceive reality and yarn balls. But all these books look great. In particular, Fitzgerald had a great debut with Photobooth, a non-fiction graphic novel about the history of the photobooth. Turning her storytelling to her own tale sounds very promising.
