Archie Comics has released solicitation information for their titles shipping in March of 2019. The month is headlined by the debut of a new Sabrina the Teenage Witch miniseries by Kelly Thompson and Veronica & Andy Fish, which we previewed when it was announced last month. The new Sabrina comic may be a miniseries, but with increased attention on the character thanks to a hit Netflix series which has already been renewed through a fourth season, it seems likely this will be just the first such series for the classic, all-ages-friendly iteration of the character.
Other notable new releases from Archie include a new Riverdale tie-in series for the CW show’s third season, and the “season finale” of Jughead: The Hunger, which leads into an upcoming crossover between that series and Vampironica. Speaking of which, a collection of Vampironica‘s first storyline, as well as a trade paperback of the Archie Meets Batman ’66 miniseries, are also slated for release in March.
