Archie Comics has a brand-new character to introduce with its American All-Stars one-shot, and she’s not afraid to kick her way to success. She’s soccer star Eternity Fields, and she’s got everyone looking her way. The Beat has gotten an exclusive look at a brand-new character making her debut in Archie Comics’ Archie: American All-Stars #1.
Tania del Rio, who wrote Eternity’s introductory story, says of her writing, “Even though Eternity Fields is confident in her soccer skills, she’s not a show-off. Instead, she uses her impressive skills to inspire the girls and get them excited about their upcoming faceoff against the boys. Of course, Eternity loves to win, but more than anything, she values a strategic and hard-fought game. Reggie also loves winning, so it was fun to write about him going toe-to-toe with Eternity. Some of Reggie’s methods are dubious to say the least, but you’ll have to see if any of them are enough to stop Eternity!”

This new story will feature art from Dan Parent, writing from Tania del Rio, inks from Bob Smith, colors from Glenn Whitmore, and letters from Jack Morelli. The main cover art is handled by Dan Parent, with a variant by Parent as well. There is a foil variant cover by Stan Goldberg with an assist from Rosario “Tito” Pena.
Archie: American All-Stars #1 debuts on June 6.
