Earlier today, NetherRealm Studios, the developer behind DC Comics ultimate fighting game Injustice 2 showed off new gameplay through Twitch tv livestream. Fans will remember Damian Wayne took the mantle of Nightwing after quote unquote accidentally killing Dick Grayson in Tom Taylor’s Injustice comics run. In the game’s sequel, Damian returns to dawn the uniform of a Robin, complete with assassin blade. Check it out below:
During the livestream, creative director Ed Boon also announced the first wave of Injustice 2 beta codes would be going out to those who signed up on the game’s website. The early beta build will be available to download once the code is received.
Injustice 2 releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16, 2017.
