After only a couple of weeks on the stands, Vault’s Engineward #1 has sold out at the distributor. Today, the publisher has announced that a second printing is currently in production along with a new cover by Michael Avon Oeming and Taki Soma scheduled to hit shelves this September.

The twelve-issue series by writer George Mann and artist Joe Eisma features colors by Michael Garland, letters by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, and designs by Tim Daniel. Each issue will also have a special “Zodiac Cover” drawn by Eisma and designed by Daniel, portraying one of the twelve Celestials of Engineward. The covers will be released according to the zodiac calendar and the sign they represent. Fans can also look for variant covers by Nathan Gooden and Jen Hickman.

Read a synopsis of the plot here:

In ENGINEWARD, Earth is an ancient myth, long forgotten. Now, the god-like Celestials, who embody the surviving zodiac signs, rule with brutal efficiency. When Joss, an Engineward, discovers and reactivates the head of a fossilized Ghoulem, she learns all is not as intended. Her destiny—and the truth about her imperious rulers—lies somewhere far beyond the borders of her shantytown.
