As always there are about four gabillion pop culture events this weekend, but this weekend it’s CAKE (Chicago Alternative Comics Expo) in Chicago, kicking off TONIGHT with a couple of excellent events:

Chicago is a vibrant scene for indie art and comics; this show has slowly been growing and seems to have found its footing as a solid stop on the Comic Arts Fest circuit. If nothing else it’s got some of the best branding of any CAF.
