After years of rumors about the next title from Rocksteady Studios, the developer behind the acclaimed Batman Arkham titles, the video game studio finally confirmed over social media that its next title is Suicide Squad, the team of supervillains popularized by the surprisingly successful 2016 film starring Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, and Will Smith directed by David Ayer. WB Games reportedly planned to reveal Rocksteady Studio’s Suicide Squad, along with a new Batman game from Warner Bros. Montreal and an open-world Harry Potter from Avalanche Software, at this year’s E3, but that was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, WB Games has reportedly begunb Based on the tweet, we should expect to learn more about Suicide Squad at the DC Fandome virtual event on August 22.
