Debuting in 2017, Shirtless Bear-Fighter from writer Jody LeHeup and Nil Vendrell was rip roaring good time that even inspired an 8-bit video game. More than five years later, a the titular hero returns in a sequel series as revealed in exclusive scoop on the announcement at ComicBook.com.

The entire creative team from the first series once again is back including colorist Mike Spicer and letterer Travis Lanphear. Though not mentioned in the press release, the cover credits seem to indicate that Sebastian Girner is also back as co-writer.

The title alone should be enough of a selling point, but if you need more perhaps the potential revelation of Shirtless Bear-Fighter’s origin will pique your interest:

The first issue of the miniseries will feature a main cover drawn by Dave Johnson, as well as additional covers by Chris Brunner (wraparound), Paolo Rivera (1:10 incentive), Daniel Warren Johnson (1:25 copy incentive), as well as a blank sketch cover.
