A year after Bruce Dickinson’s The Mandrake Project kicked off with its first epic volume, he and publisher Z2 Comics will debut its next installment at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
The Mandrake Project: Year Two collects issues #5-8 of the fantastical story, which picks up right where its predecessor left off. Here’s the synopsis:
The war between magic and science for the control of immortality reaches a surreal, fever pitch, as a near death experience propels Necropolis into a parallel world where he learns the dark secrets of his twisted family tree. The revelations leave him shocked, wondering if he can escape the family legacy of self-destruction in the name of ambition, or is he simply a cog in a greater cosmic machine, controlled by supernatural forces?
Dickinson will be at SDCC ’26 for creator signings. The Mandrake Project: Year Two is available for pre-order through Z2. More details to come.
