Friday’s opening Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 showed the official trailer for Prime Video’s Blade Runner 2099 and revealed the sci-fi series’ premiere date.
Panelists included actors Michelle Yeoh (a “Replicant”) and Hunter Schafer, alongside the show’s producers. According to panelists, fans can expect to see “connective tissue in characters and storyline” but designed where if you’re not very familiar with the first two Blade Runner films, you won’t feel left behind.
Check out the teaser trailer below.
In addition to the teaser, the panel also showed an actual scene from the series. In it, Shafer’s character is grabbed forcefully, strapped to a table, and given a shower as her wounds are mechanically tended to. Shortly after, Yeoh’s character walks in, saying she’d complete the process herself. She then questions Shafer’s character, implying she’s different from other individuals.
As revealed at the panel, Blade Runner 2099 will premiere on November 25.
