The first part of Marvel Studios’ Comic-Con panel was dedicated to the upcoming movie based on Jack Kirby’s The Eternals. Directed by Chloé Zhao (The Rider), The Eternals will be released on November 6, 2020, which is just 16 months away!

President Kevin Feige said that they’re going “Full Jack Kirby” with the movie before confirming the cast as Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Kumail NanjianiBrian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Lia McHugh — all of whom were on hand to greet the cheering fans.

Richard Madden – Ikaris
Salma Hayek – Ajax, leader of the Eternals
Brian Tyree Henry – Phastos
Don Lee – Gilgamesh
Lia McHugh – Sprite
Kumail Nanjiani – Kingo
Lauren Ridloff – Makkari

(Of note: Ridloff is a deaf actress who will be playing the first deaf Marvel superhero in a film.)
