#Conancon was in full effect for its fourth year at the annual San Diego Comic-Con taking place inside the Spreckels Theatre. A few of our team members were there for the Friday night showing which happened to be the same taping of the Glass cast, literally a few minutes after their Hall H appearance. Many assumed it would have been the Aquaman cast but in true Comic-Con fashion, nothing is what you expected!

Other than a surprise appearance from the legendary scream queen herself, Jamie Lee Curtis, who quizzed Conan on his Comic-Con expertise, the entire Glass cast (minus James McAvoy) came to speak with the well-known late night host. Bruce Willis, Anya Taylor-Joy, Samuel L. Jackson, Sarah Paulson, and director M. Night Shyamalan all showed up to spill stories about the background story of Unbreakable to how Jackson had the power to single-handedly push this idea of the sequel… many years later.

We won’t give away too much since the actual taping will air this Sunday on TBS, but expect a whole lot of “WTFs” since both Paulson and Jackson for sure maxed out on the number of “motherf*ckas” you can ever say in one episode, combined. So, yes. There will be a whole lot of bleeps. Fingers crossed they air it even if nothing makes sense. It just shows that they most definitely got along while on set!

Last but not least, what most attendees like myself was looking forward to, the third taping was gifted the Ant-Man Funko Pop AKA one of the most coveted Funko Pops of the weekend. Needless to say, we were thrilled and freaking out!

Pro-tip for anyone and everyone who has ever got their hands on e-tickets via 1iota: Show up early. We arrived around 8:45 am to pick up our tickets but were sitting in the mezzanine. If you want the good seats – good enough to maybe sneak some airtime with the redhead himself – you might want to consider setting up shop early in the morning. It pays off.

Stay tuned for the complete taping premiering this Sunday at 11/10c on TBS.
