Just a few minutes ago on twitter, Ron Howard posted a video for Star Wars fans announcing the title of the fairly beleaguered spin-off focused on Han Solo and all his extraordinary friends.
Hey #Twitterville we just wrapped production so here’s a special message #StarWars pic.twitter.com/8QJqN5BGxr

Solo: A Star Wars Story! Now it can be told.
To be honest, when I saw all my friends tweeting about Solo, I was desperately hoping it was a return of the great DC anthology from over a decade ago. Those were some exciting comics weren’t they? Especially that one Paul Pope did, and Brendan McCarthy, and Mike Allred. I just wanna go pull the deluxe edition off the shelf now.
Where was I? Oh right, Han Solo…that movie comes out next May and stars Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson and more . I’m sure it’ll be fine. Though Rogue One was kind of bad, so maybe not. Much like with Justice League, I’m looking forward to seeing what’s left from the previous filmmakers and how much Howard altered the entire course of it.
Wait … when did Ron Howard take over this film? I am not staying on top of my geek news, I guess…
Han Solo: Smuggler’s Blues
Han, Solo
Experience the Han Solo trilogy instead. That’s his real backstory. Actually both trilogies.
