Random House Graphic has partnered with five indie bookstores for “Falling for Graphic Novels,” a series of virtual panels that will fill your autumnal season with the medium you love the most: comics!

The events will be hosted via Crowdcast, and while the panels are virtual, you will want to reserve your spot in advance (which you can do by clicking the links in this article).

On September 2nd, 2020, at 6:00 PM Pacific Time, the first event, “Heart Happy! Tales of Friendship, Family, and Fun,” will take place. Hosted by Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena, California, this panel will be moderated by Oliver Sava.

This panel will feature Jeffery Brown (Once Upon a Space-Time!/Lucy and Andy Neanderthal), Laura Knetzger (Bug Boys), and Jose Pimienta (Suncatcher, an especially appropriate choice for a SoCal bookstore).

On September 10th, 2020, at 4:00 PM Central Time, the next event, the “RH Graphic Doodle Draw,” will be held. This even will be hosted by BookPeople in Austin, Texas, and will be moderated by Alex Lu.

This event will feature Stephen Shaskan (Pizza & Taco: Who’s the Best?), Mika Song (Donut Feed the Squirrels), Kaeti Vandorn (Crabapple Trouble), and Brian Yanish (Shark and Bot).

Halfway through September, on the 16th, at 7:00 PM Central Time, the next event will take place: Magic and Mayhem: Adventures in Graphic Novels. This event will be hosted by The Book Stall in Winnetka, Illinois and hosted by Nicole Herviou.

This event will feature Sophie Escabasse (Witches of Brooklyn), Nathan Page and Drew Shannon (The Montague Twins: The Witch’s Hand), and Reimena Yee (Séance Tea Party).

On September 22nd, 2020, at 6:00 PM Mountain Time, “Celebrating LGBTQ+ Representation in Comics!” will take place. The event will be hosted by BookBar in Denver, Colorado, and moderated by Samantha Puc.

The panel will feature Trung Le Nguyen (The Magic Fish), Chad Sell (Doodleville), and Jessi Zabarsky (Witchlight).

And on September 27th, 2020, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, “RH Graphic: Pick Your Hero!” will take place. This event will be hosted by Books of Wonder in New York, New York, and moderated by Mika Avila.

This event will feature John Gallagher (Max Meow: Cat Crusader), J. C. Phillipps (Pacey Packer: Unicorn Tracker), Mark Siegel (5 Worlds series), and Judd Winick (HILO series).
