Mattel has revealed yet another iconic line of dolls. Following its debut of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power dolls at San Diego Comic Con, the toy company is now diving into another geeky fandom: Star Wars. Mattel revealed three dolls via Twitter on Tuesday, each one inspired by Episode IV: A New Hope. The trio kick off Mattel’s line of Star Wars x Barbie dolls, which will hopefully expand to the other titles in the franchise as well.

The three dolls are: Princess Leia, R2-D2, and Darth Vader. Rather than directly replicate the characters and their costumes from the movie, Mattel’s Star Wars x Barbie line features high-fashion versions of each. However, key components of these iconic looks are still present, like Leia’s space buns and Vader’s cape.

Each doll retails at $100; they are labeled on Mattel’s website as “adult collector” items. Interested fans will find that all three dolls are currently available for pre-order, with a ship date of November 18, 2019.

In addition to portrait photos of each doll, Mattel also released detail shots of their costuming and paint jobs, which can be found below (click the thumbnails to enlarge). To learn more, check out each doll’s individual pre-order page on Mattel.com.
