Lucasfilm has partnered with eight brands to celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The promotion alliance kicked off on October 2, when all eight brands tweeted out a portion of an image, which, when pieced together, revealed the new alien Babu Frik. Frik was first revealed in toy form during Triple Force Friday and has been described as an Anzellan droidsmith who works among the Kijimi Spice Runners. While it remains to be seen whether or not Frik has anything to do with the red-eyed Threepio glimpsed in trailers, one thing’s for sure: Frik is adorable.

In addition to the unveiling of Frik and the individual promotions listed below, the promotion includes a sweepstakes that offers the chance to attend the premier of Rise of Skywalker. As stipulated by the official rules, all that’s required to enter is to send a tweet that includes only the hashtag #TheRiseofSkywalkerSweepstakes and the tag @StarWars. The contest runs from October 2nd through October 8th, and fans can enter once per day.

Bose

Bose is bringing a special audio augmented reality experience to the official Star Wars app. The experience takes advantage of the motion-sensors in Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II, Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, and Bose Frames to deliver “immersive audio content” to Star Wars fans.

Dannon

In November, you can head to the dairy aisle at your local supermarket to find a whole selection of limited-time Star Wars themed packaging on Dannon yogurt products. Dannon, YoCrunch, Danimals, and Dannon non-fat yogurt drinks will all feature Star Wars characters.

GE Appliances

A national advertising spot and a “special film engagement opportunities” with appliance retailers throughout the United States are being planned by the GE Profile series.

General Mills

General Mills will be included temporary Star Wars tattoos in boxes of Big G cereals. If that’s not incentive enough, specially marked packages of Chex Mix, Big G, and Nature Valley will allow anyone with a smart device to unlock an activity in the official Star Wars app. Once this game has been completed, General Mills will make a 10 cent donation to Feeding America as part of a special promotion called “Do Good in the Galaxy.”

McDonald’s

U.S. patrons will also have the chance to enter an additional sweepstakes with the purchase of one of the Star Wars-themed meals.

Porsche

The release of The Rise of Skywalker will align with the release of the fully electric Porsche Taycan, and while the luxury automobile manufacturer has not yet revealed precisely what the shape of their collaboration with Lucasfilm will take, here at Stately Beat Manor we’re hoping for a totally cool, “reassembled-Kylo Ren helmet” edition of the Taycan EV.

Samsung Mobile

Samsung Mobile is concocting an experience that will show off the “connected world” that can be achieved thanks to transformative technologies and ideas, but the precise nature of that experience remains to be seen.

United Airlines

In November, United Airlines will unveil an aircraft with a special design to commemorate the conclusion of the Skywalker saga, bringing Star Wars to over 350 different airports.
