Local Comic Shop Day will be held this year on November 19th, offering exclusives and another chance for comics shops to promote themselves as mini comic-cons every day of the year. This exclusive 8-inch Black and white version of the Lying Cat statue, manufactured by Skybound for Image, is an attractive item that will find a home on the shelves of many discerning collectors. It’s limited to 300 hand numbered pieces and the FOC for it is Monday so get your orders in, participating stores!
Lying Cat is from the Saga series by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples and has become the most recognizable character from the hit series.
Local Comic Shop Day was moved from Black Friday to the Saturday before Thanksgiving this year, at the behest of retailers so we’ll see how it does.
