Some dude was walking by the Green Lantern movie set in new Orleans and totally got lucky with this photo of Peter Sarsgaard as villain Dr. Hector Hammond. In the comic, Hammond is one of those guy-with-a-giant-deformed-head–who-rides-around-in-a-chair types who are so prevalent these days, a problem caused by a run-in with a meteor back in the day.

Here’s Hammond from the comics

And here’s Sarsgaard without makeup.

Wait, that’s Eric Stoltz from MASK! Sarsgaard does not have craniodiaphyseal dysplasia.

That’s better!

According to Reelz Channel, security on the set of LANTERN, which is being directed by Martin Campbell, has been porous, with numerous leaked photos. But are they leaks…or “leaks”?

  1. Looks a bit like one of the mutants from the Hills Have Eyes remake. (probably because of the t-shirt and khakis) Ah well, can’t really judge this early on. Unless they’re doing a “day in the life of Hector Hammond” him running errands at the Home Depot, etc.

  2. You know, picking up day laborers at Home Depot would probably be a lot cheaper than investing in actual minions. You may be on to something here.

  3. “Hammond is one of those guy-with-a-giant-deformed-head–who-rides-around-in-a-chair types who are so prevalent these days, a problem caused by a run-in with a meteor back in the day.”

That explains the head, but what about the skullet?

  4. “Unless they’re doing a “day in the life of Hector Hammond” him running errands at the Home Depot, etc.”

That would explain why Sarasgaard was there. That sounds like a lot of his other movies.

  5. That is funny. Super villains going to Home Depot to hire Day Laborers to be their henchmen. Not that they would accept.
