It’s hard to believe that New York Comic Con is only a week away. You better believe preparation has already begun here at stately Beat Manor and can expect us to cover all the major pop culture news and happenings at the Javitz Center. In fact, today Funko unveiled details for Limited Edition POP! collectible figures featuring the many suits of the greatest Green Lantern Hal Jordan.

Whether or not you’ve been watching the DC Studios Lanterns TV series, you’re more than likely aware of the ongoing debate among fandom regarding the depiction of marquee DC character Hal Jordan, played by Kyle Chandler. The most episode certainly took some swings and wasn’t afraid to deviate from established comic lore to provide new depth for Hal Jordan as a character. If nothing else, it provided some amazing memes of John Stewart’s fictional account of Hal Jordan’s funeral.

As revealed in an IGN exclusive, these Funko Hal Jordan figures will be sold exclusively at Funko’s booth (#4515), with limited quantities of certain figures being offered online later on Funko Web. While the standard Green Lantern version will be available each day of the con, the rest are only being sold on one specific day.

Some fans might be disapointed to see costumes from the Orange and Indigo Lantern Corps didn’t make the cut. Hopefully, Funko will eventually get around to those in the not too distant future.
