Forgotten Home, which is written by Erica Schultz and illustrated by Marika Cresta, will reach its conclusion on May 26, and today The Beat has an exclusive preview from comiXology Originals.

This series first launched in October, marking the start of an 8-part urban fantasy series. The story follows Sheriff’s Deputy Lorraine Adalet, who is investigating child disappearances in Montana. These disappearances have one thing in common: there are traces of magic involved with the cases. The plot thickens when Deputy Adalet’s own daughter is caught up in the case. A lot has happened since that first issue began with this pitch, and it’s all coming to a head now.

Written by Erica Schultz with art by Marika Cresta, colors by Matt Emmons and Jackie Von Spanks, letters by Cardinal Rae, and covers by Natasha Alterici, the series has been released monthly since it began.
