Disney and Pixar’s first family of crime-fighting is back for another adventure. Dark Horse Comics has announced Disney/PIXAR’s The Incredibles 2: Slow Burn, a new miniseries starring Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack. The series will be written by Christos Gage, with art by Jean Claudio Vinci and colors by Dan Jackson.

Here’s how the publisher describes the series, which finds super-speedster Dash facing a new challenge:

Dash is known for one thing: Speed. From fighting evil to eating breakfast, Dash doesn’t do slow, no matter what. However, when a new villain named Slow Burn arrives on the scene, Dash must learn, and quickly, how to adapt to life at a slower pace. And luckily for him, his family is here to help!

The Incredibles 2: Slow Burn is the third series from Dark Horse Comics to star the popular Disney and Pixar characters. Previous series include the three-issue The Incredibles 2: Crisis in Mid-Life! & Other Stories, written by Gage & Landry Walker, with art by GurihiruJ. BoneAndrea Greppi, and others; and the three-issue The Incredibles 2: Secret Identities, by Gage, Vinci, and Jackson. Dark Horse has also published a young readers graphic novel set during the events of the second film, The Incredibles 2: Heroes at Home, by Liz Marsham and Nicoletta Baldari. Collections of the two miniseries are currently available along with the Heroes at Home graphic novel.
