If you've been following AMC's Preacher, you've probably noticed that the show - up until now - was largely covering ground that seemed to take place before the comic. Speaking at San Diego Comic Con today, producer Seth Rogen confirmed that while season one was largely a prequel to the source material, future seasons would be delving into the comic's content, albeit possibly taking different paths to get there.

Marvel Studios and Netflix had a roller coaster panel at SDCC, beginning with footage from The Punisher and capping off the day in Hall H with a surprise screening of Marvel's The Defenders, which will be released on Netflix August 18.

Escape rooms are pretty trendy right now, so it makes to see one pop at SDCC off-site events this year – the room, presented by Alcon Television Group and themed to SyFy’s series The Expanse, pits two teams (between 4-5 people on a team) against one another in a race to escape a failing ship. The event is located at 450 2nd Avenue and is open from 10 AM to 7 PM Thursday and Friday, 9 AM to 7 PM Saturday, and 10 AM to 6 PM on Sunday.

There's no shortage of off-site events at SDCC this year, and USA’s Mr. Robot is back on the ground with a new concept. At a makeshift E Corp bank located at 327 4th Avenue, fans can open an "account" with E Corp, loaded with 20 Ecoin cryptocurrency.
