Unlike Spiderman: Turn Off The Critics, the BATMAN LIVE - World Arena Tour is a stunt-show, albeit probably one with more plot than the old second act of STOTD. The story is devised by Allan Heinberg, Stan Berkowitz and Alan Burnett, and cast photos from the production -- which kicks off in the UK -- have just been released. There's also a piece from the BBC which suggests this show will include tons of aerial stunts:

Warren Ellis has signed up for a couple more novels. His new publisher is Mulholland Books and the first novel will be something called Gun Machine.

Cartoonist Peter Bagge has long had a thriving side career as a member of various garage bands. Now his outift Can You Imagine? has just released a new video for the song "Drive," directed by Mott Todd. Bonus: Artwork by Peter Bagge!

They said it would never happen but it has: Teen Boat is being collected as a book by Clarion/Houghton Mifflin -- created by Dave Roman and John Green, Teen Boat, the story of a boy who can transform into a small yacht, has long charmed readers with a series of mini comics combining "the angst of being a teen with the thrill of being a boat." Despite all logic and evidence to the contrary, former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is serious about his new cartoon show, based on a joke nickname for his political career. The Governator, developed by Stan Lee and Andy Heyward, has a trailer, above, and a lot of wish fulfillment for Ahnuld.

This was probably the most buzzed about trailer after GREEN LANTERN at WonderCon. The new Thundercats cartoon is coming to the Cartoon Network "soon." Producers Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender), art director Dan Norton and voice actor Larry Kenney took part in a panel. Kenney -- who voiced Lion-O in the original but is playing Claudus in the new one -- stole the show with some bawdy comments.

It was the biggest panel of the day at WonderCon, and the most crucial hour yet for the future of the revamped DC Entertainment brand. With appearances by stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, and the first view of effects-heavy footage, the Green Lantern panel was the chance to show that this is indeed the tentpole movie that is going to usher in a new era for DC's superhero universe.. Interest was certainly high, as a line to get in to the 5 pm panel stretched almost around the Moscone center. The panel was led by Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns himself. The only previous GL trailer was heavy on the romance aspect, due to the CGI footage not being ready -- and leading to some questions ever whether this movie was going to please the loyal Green Lantern fanboys. However, this new footage seems to lay those doubts to rest with a spectacular look at Oa, the GL Corps, Sinestro, Tomar Re, and the rest of the Lanternverse. It's incredible what some Disney marketing dollars will do. Marvel has been running a big promo for their Avengers/Thor/Captain America/Iron Man movie franchise gaggle where you try out to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent -- they were running it in Chicago at C2E2 but it didn't get the attention it has here in San Francisco where we were awoken this morning by someone slipping the above promo piece into our room at the convention hotel, the Marriot Marquis.

Ahnold is back. As a cartoon based on his "Governator" persona. And it took no less than Stan Lee to figure out how to do it, EW explains:

Comic fans care about the character or than a particular story. Be true to the characters and fans (in general) will be pleased.
