Marvel confirm Minimum Carnage, reveal the cover for Amazing Spider-Man #700, and celebrate KellySue DeConnick at SDCC

There's a new teaser poster for Man of Steel making the rounds at Comicon:

OK, so it's supposed to be the Iron Man 3 panel. And it is, but they started out by confirming a few thing for the second phase of the MCU. MCU? Marvel Cinematic Universe. What is there to be confirmed? Here's a handy list:

Image have announced at least seven more titles today, from creators like Emma Rios, Chris Roberson, Joe Casey, Darick Roberson, Greg Rucka, KellySue DeConnick, James Robinson and Matt Fraction.

Top Cow's talking about their digital plans again. This has all been announced prior to Comicon, but I haven't really commented on it yet and now's as good a time as any. The two major pieces are a Kickstarter campaign to relaunch Cyber Force and moving Pilot Season over to Mark Waid's Thrillbent site.

Quentin Tarantino jumped onto the Before Watchmen panel today, ran around on the table, and announced a new 5-issue miniseries based on his new film, to be published by Vertigo.

The last holdout has come in, and it's one of the biggest and best. After years of staying aloof from the digital world, Fantagraphics has announced they are going with ComiXology to release digital versions of the Love and Rockets back catalog, as revealed today on the Love and Rockets panel. We caught up with Fanta's associate publisher Eric Reynolds to get the who how what and why of bringing some of the greatest cartoonsits in the world to the digital platform:

The Cup o' Joe panel had a few announcements and has taken the first step to solving some of the solitication mysteries spinning out of "Marvel Now." A lot of it seems to be spun out of AVX.

Two primary announcements are coming out of the "Ultimate Marvel" Panel. (That really does sound goofy if you say it out loud, doesn't it?) First off, there's a new Ultimate Comics Iron Man mini-series coming out. Secondly, there's going to be an Event in the Ultimates line called "Divided We Fall."

IDW's long-teased Judge Dredd series has a writer and artist! And a release date. And guns!
