ICv2 continues its sit down with Marvel publisher Dan Buckley, who says many things, but also points out one of the great dichotomies of comics -- everyone says they want done-in-one jumping on point comics -- but when publishers put them out, the sales don't pick up at all:

HeyUGuys scans in the new issue of Empire and gets some new images of Chris Hemsworth as Thor. He's no Alexander Skarsgard, but we guess he'll do. The film has an innovative plot, as well, as Thor and his evil brother Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston) must team up to defeat the sinister menace of The Boom Mike.

So it's Zack Snyder who's been tapped to direct the next Superman movie. Evidently, the vacation Snyder took directing a movie about feisty little owls wearing helmets put him back in the mood for a comic book movie, following 300 and WATCHMEN.

Retailer Atom! Freeman, recently hired as Direct Market Liaison at Top Cow, has already been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing. Congrats to Freeman!

The final strong>Cathy comic strip ran today, and it's a sweet, classy goodbye, with a nod to the generation the strip came from and a look forward with Cathy announcing her pregnancy. We get a little sentimental about this kind of ending -- one that hints at the unfolding of a whole new story, but one that will only ever be written in our own imaginations.

Whaddaya know, Wonder Woman is back she she's getting her own David E. Kelley-produced TV show.

Nothing really, business as usual. Seriously, there is a lot of change going on -- although DC Comics is staying in New York, a lot of people are either leaving their jobs or being faced with a move to another coast. We're not going to run all 80 -- or however many it is -- names, but some departments are newsworthy enough to be reported on.
