Folks, we’re in for a bumpy ride this year as increasingly partisan politics take over the news cycle. There is only one man who can save us from ignorance to set things straight, and it’s obviously Bruce Campbell. And he’s been drawn into the fray to refute a meme that’s going arond on pro-Donald Trump social media where a picture of a gorgeous, bloody white woman is being presented as a Trump supporter who was viciously attacked by a mob.
But the photo is actually a make-up test from Ash vs Evil Dead with actress Samara Weaving. Weaving posted the photo to her Instagram and Twitter account on January 4, 2016 and now it’s been co-opted by people who have no regard for facts.
Luckily, Bruce is here to promote truth with his boom-stick and his boom-twitter. It’s been a while since we spotlighted this long time Beat icon, but you can never have too much Bruce Campbell.
