This weekend at SDCC will see the world premiere of the much anticipated Batman: Hush animated feature based on the fan-favorite eponymous Jeph Loeb/Jim Lee DC Comics storyline, a day before its July 20 Digital release. Be sure to keep your eyes here at stately Beat manor for our review and coverage.

To whet your appetites, Warner Bros. has released a Batman: Hush clip.

If the animated feature follows the basic story structure of the original comic, we can assume this clip takes place toward the beginning of the film. In fact, there’s a shot that directly homages one of Jim Lee’s iconic panels in Batman #608. Of course, those who’ve read Hush know that things won’t be looking up for the Caped Crusader at the end of this chase.

Batman: Hush clipLet’s see what other images from the comic the filmmakers manage to slip into the film once it’s released. Until then, check out the Batman: Hush clip below:

A mysterious villain puppeteering Gotham’s most dangerous forces leads the Dark Knight into uncharted waters in “Batman: Hush,” the next entry in the popular series of DC Universe Movies. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the feature-length animated film arrives from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital starting July 20, 2019, and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack & Blu-ray Combo Pack on August 6, 2019. Batman: Hush premieres on the DC Universe streaming service on August 13, 2019. An adaptation of the seminal DC classic tale, “Batman: Hush” centers on a shadowy new villain known only as Hush, who uses Gotham’s Rogues Gallery to destroy Batman’s crime-fighting career, as well as Bruce Wayne’s personal life – which has already been complicated by a relationship with Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman. “Batman: Hush” boasts a stellar voice cast led by primetime television stars Jason O’Mara (The Man In The High Castle) and Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon A Time) as the voices of Batman/Bruce Wayne and Catwoman/Selina Kyle, respectively. WBHE hosts the World Premiere of “Batman: Hush” on Friday, July 19 at Comic-Con International in San Diego.
