This is one of the creepiest, most disturbing books I’ve ever read. My 19-year-old could only read it during the daytime.
I once heard Stephen Bissette lecture about Ito’s work.
He showed the short story “The Enigma of Amigara Fault”.

Yeah, the progression of the scene excerpted above is something I am never going to forget. *shivers*
This guy is the greatest, on par with Suehiro Maruo. I was reading his stuff in the manga in Japan in the late 90s when I was over there.
