Nexus is the long running space opera by Rude and writer Mike Baron that’s one of the delights of creator owned comics. The Moth is a Dark Horse series that Rude has been working on for the last few years.
In the past Rude has had a gallery of great colorists from early work by Steve Oliff on. His recent Dark Horse presents stories were colored by Glenn Whitmore.
Rude has had some very public career ups and downs of late but he remains one of the most thrilling and intense living comics artists with a sense of wonder and heroism right out of the Kirby play book. And he’s an accomplished painter in his own right, as as his recent cover for a December collection of Nexus stories shows Sold.
