Just in time for the spookiest season, here’s We Choose Our Friends Alone” : a short horror comics about a little girl who goes somewhere she shouldn’t written by Chris Jones and drawn by Elaine M Will. you can read it in two parts

part one
part two

Will is the author of Look Straight Ahead, a graphic novel about mental illness, and she’s currently working on Dustship Glory, a historical drama set during the Great Depression, adapted from Andreas Schroeder’s novel. Look Straight Ahead is quite an amazing piece of work as it goes inside the head of a young man undergoing a mental breakdown, but I think you’ll enjoy this lighter seasonal fare if you’re not familiar with her work.
