On May 9th, the next era of the Justice League begins. After the fallout of Dark Nights: Metal and the introduction of the Dark Multiverse, the League finds themselves questioning what else is out there and how they might face these new threats.

In the kickoff to the four-issue miniseries Justice League: No Justice, the League runs out of time to plan as the villainous Brainiac comes to Earth, begging for our heroes’ help in saving his world and the universe as a whole from “four giant beings comprised of the universe’s major energies—Mystery, Wonder, Wisdom and Entropy—who sustain their life force by devouring planets.” As these archetypes bear down upon the universe, the Justice League forms new teams to take on the multi-pronged threat.

What secrets of the cosmos will Superman, Martian Manhunter and Team Mystery discover? Will Zatanna, Wonder Woman and Team Wonder awaken alien magic they cannot put back to sleep? What can Harley Quinn possibly have to teach the rest of Team Wisdom? And most importantly…why the heck is Beast Boy on Team Entropy with Lobo and Batman? Find out all this and much more in the most exciting, bombastic event of summer 2018!

Today, DC Comics released the first preview of Justice League: No Justice #1. You can check it out at their site right now.

  1. so first the DC universe had the rainbow colors for power rings, now the Universe’s four major energies… What’s next, the three ultimate challenges Lock, Stock and Barrel?

  2. Could be good for younger readers and maybe older ones, if they want to get meta, and/or delve into themes.

Kind of reminds me of Annihilation, just in setting up new Kirby-ish cosmic figures and having old heroes meet new challenges. Looking to expand the DC cosmic space from what’s come before?
