After unveiling a comic accurate Gorr action figure a few months ago, this morning Hasbro announced the latest addition to the Marvel Legends line – Yondu from The Guardians of the Galaxy! Inspired by the character’s classic appearance in Marvel comics, this Yondu figure features his bow, quiver and yaka arrow and will be available for pre-order later this Spring exclusively at Target.
Since the first Guardians of the Galaxy, most people are likely familiar with the film version as portrayed by Michael Rooker. After biting the big one in Vol. 2, it’s safe not to expect the character to appear in the upcoming Vol. 3 film except through flashbacks. Here’s hoping the other OG Guardians get their own Hasbro action figures in the near future like Charlie-27 or Martinex.
