Last month during CinemaCon, Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige teased that Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket would outdo the one for Dune: Part Two popcorn bucket from AMC Theaters. I think it goes without saying that people are well aware of the infamous Arrakian sandworm inspired popcorn bucket that went viral even generating its own SNL sketch. Sure enough, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman took to social media to officially unveil the first look at the Wolverine popcorn bucket and they did not lie.

The first question I’m sure on everyone’s minds is where and how can you get your hands on it? Unfortunately, no details have been revealed if these buckets are exclusive and limited to one particular chain or when they’ll be available for purchase. in or when they’ll go on sale. It’s also possible this is just a joke, but I doubt the marketing would be that cruel to fans.

It goes without saying that Marvel Studios has a lot riding on the success of Deadpool & Wolverine given the recent MCU misfires in recent years to put it mildly. I’d go far as to say that movie theaters in general are praying that the Merc with the Mouth can get moviegoers excited enough to return to theaters after worst Memorial Day box office in decades.

Things seem to be on track with the movie reporting record breaking first-day ticket tales. It’s hard to believe that no film released in 2024 thus far has broken $100 million in its opening weekend. Here’s hoping “Marvel Jesus” can work his magic and change things around.
